Two special worship events Sunday, October 4, 2020.
At Kerr, it is time for our annual Blessing of the Animals Service!
This Sunday morning at 11AM, bring your friendly pet or a picture of your pet to be blessed during our service. We will also have a time of remembrance for animals who remain in our hearts although they have passed from this life. Join us in person or on zoom using our home page link.
Our Scripture reminds us over and over that God is the creator and sustainer of all creatures. The idea for blessing animals comes from the Bible when God blessed the animals in Genesis 9 in the Covenant with Noah. We stand in thankfulness for God’s continued work in all of creation and annually celebrate this early in October.
Then, at 4PM join the Pittsburgh Chapter of the National Black Presbyterian Caucus virtually for a Worldwide Communion Service. Join this service using Zoom or Facebook. Here are the details for the Worldwide Communion Service.
Hope to see you in the many ways we worship the Lord together!
“Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.” –Revelation 4:11
