This service of worship was created for Kerr Presbyterian Church on September 13, 2020.
It Is Well With My Soul by Horatio Spafford and Philip Bliss.
Today’s Junior Sermon for our young people from Elder Scott Davis:
Our Scripture reading is Exodus 12:1-13. Note, this sermon references passages from Exodus 5-12.
This week’s sermon is “The Blood of the Lamb” given by Rev. KJ Norris.
Part of worship is the giving of our offerings. There are many kinds of offerings. We can give God:
- Our time (as you did already today!)
- Our talent (by serving in the community especially in this time of physical distancing–consider making a phone call or writing a card or contact Pastor KJ to be involved with next week’s online worship)
- Our treasure (consider giving to Kerr Presbyterian Church online or sending a check to Kerr Presbyterian Church)
If you would like to receive communion at home, please contact Pastor KJ through the prayer request form. Our communion song is O Sacred Head, Now Wounded played on cello by David Bennett.
Oh Taste and See, Bethel Music played by Kimberly Norris.
Benediction (from Romans 8:35-39)
Who will separate us from the love of of Christ?
I am convinced that neither death nor life
nor angels nor rulers
nor things present nor things to come
nor height nor depth
nor anything else in all creation
will be able to separate us
from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
