Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Ash Wednesday Service last night!
We had a wonderful turnout on a very cold night. People worshiped the Lord Jesus together, chose prayer partners for the season of Lent, and learned about fasting. It was a beautiful service, and the sermon audio will be up soon.
Since this is only our 3rd year at Kerr to celebrate Ash Wednesday, attenders were curious about the history of receiving ashes. Some asked me: Is this something other Presbyterians do? Is this a part of our tradition?
